The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB 226 would allow certain concealed weapons offenses to be set aside and expunged.
The bill also provides a private cause of action in the event that a state agency or political
subdivision violates the Security, Privacy, and Dissemination of Criminal History Information
Act, and allows for retroactive claims.
