LB226 aims to provide a legal mechanism for individuals convicted of certain concealed weapon offenses to have their convictions set aside and expunged. The bill also establishes a private cause of action for violations of the Security, Privacy, and Dissemination of Criminal History Information Act. Additionally, it waives sovereign immunity in cases where a state agency or its officers fail to comply with record privacy regulations.
