The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB23 directs the Department of Economic Development to establish a grant program to non-
profit organizations for the purpose of operating bike-sharing programs, and states legislative
intent to appropriate $250,000 from the general fund for such purpose.
