LB 267 amends the Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Act. It provides a process by which one tenant may remove another
tenant from a lease agreement in the situation of domestic violence. It also prov ides a process for a tenant to require a landlord to
change the locks of a dwelling in the event of domestic violence.
