The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB281 would eliminate the Board of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and transfer all of
the duties therein to the Board of Nursing. The Board of Nursing would be expanded by one
additional public member and three additional advanced practice registered nurses.
