As amended, this bill adds nurse anesthetists and dietitian nutritionists to the professions that qualify for the Rural Health Systems and
Professional Incentive Act which requires participants to practice in a designated health profession shortage area in Nebraska. Newly
eligible nurse anesthetists and dietitian nutritionists may receive repayment for qualified educational debts up to $15,000 per year per
recipient subject to selection by the overseein g board and acceptance of a contract. This bill would not increase the funding for the
program therefore program administrators may be required to decrease per capita repayments or uti lize a waitlist.
