The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB 33 would remove nonalcoholic beer from regulation under the Nebraska Liquor Control
Act. Nonalcoholic beer is defined as beer containing less than 0.5% alcohol, consistent with
federal definitions and regulations.€ €
AM 23 would further remove all other nonalcoholic beverages from regulation under the Act,
including nonalcoholic wines and seltzers, if they contain less than 0.5% alcohol.€€
