The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB 330 increases the sales tax on alcohol to 15.5% and creates the Alcohol Addiction
and Treatment Fund. The bill allocates 50% of the revenue to the Alcohol Addiction and
Treatment Fund and 50% to the Education Future Fund.
