The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:

LB332 establishes Medicaid reimbursement for psychological services provided by doctoral
level psychology interns. Doctoral psychology interns are advanced level practitioners with
four- six years of graduate school training working under the supervision of a licensed
psychologist credentialed with Medicaid.
