Summary of purpose and/or changes:
LB 335 aims to update and amend existing provisions in the Nebraska Reissue Revised Statutes to redefine a term
relating to the Line of Duty Dependent Education Act. The bill seeks to redefine the meaning of “Child” in sections
85-2303 to include stepchildren within the definition. The original version of sections 85-2303 will be repealed to
reflect the new, updated provisions as outlined in the bill.
