LB 406 removes the language “who shall be” from the first sentence of section 2-1201 (2) so that it states that the Racing and Gaming
Commission shall consist of 7 members appointed by the Governor and subject to confirmation by a majority of the members elected to
the Legislature and may, after an opportunity to be hear d, be removed for cause by the Governor.
