The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB422 would amend the Transfer on Death Deeds Act to provide that when a transfer on
death deed is on file and a transferor dies, coverage of the transferors insurance policy shall
extend for a period of 60 days following the death of the transferor.
