The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB 428 ensures parents are notified of any surveys regarding sensitive and personal
information administered to students, the purpose of the collected data, the practices of how
such data is to be stored or shared, and allows parents to exempt their child from participating
in them.€
