The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB451 would transfer $1,000,000 a year for 10 years from the Unclaimed Property Trust
Fund to the Capitol Restoration Cash Fund. The Capitol Restoration Cash Fund is used to
finance projects for the restoration, preservation, and enhancement of the State Capitol and its
courtyards and grounds among other uses as stated in Section 69-1317.
