The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:€
LB452 appropriates $500,000 from Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) federal funds in FY25-26
and FY26-27 for court appointed special advocates, who advocate for children in the court system who have
been abused or neglected.
