LB480 amends Nebraska §37- 1802 and §37-1803 by expanding the scope of potential projects which can be carried out under the Water Recreation Enhancement Act to include: 1) Niobrara State Park projects which would increase recreational opportunity and the enjoyment of the park; and 2) Lake McConaughy SRA and/or Lewis and Clark SRA possible infrastructure projects identified to improve water access and recreational opportunities within the SRA areas. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission (NGPC) has indicated there is no fiscal impact from this bill. There is no reason to disagree with NGPC ’s estimation. The projects must increase recreational opportunity at those locations. The funding amount or sources of the projects does not appear to be changing via this bill. That would mean no change is expected to our current budgeted revenues or expenditures. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _ BREAKDOWN BY MAJOR OBJECTS OF EXPENDITURE Personal Services: POSITION TITLE NUMBER OF POSITIONS 25-26 26-27 2025-26 EXPENDITURES 2026-27 EXPENDITURES Benefits………………………………...…… Operating…………………………...……….
