The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB483 amends Initiative Law 2024 No. 437 to limit permissible forms of medical cannabis to
pills or liquid tinctures.€
The bill also reduces the allowable amount of cannabis to three hundred milligrams of delta-9
THC.€
Finally, LB438 requires any practitioner writing recommendations for medical cannabis to be
licensed under the Uniform Credentialing Act and is licensed in Nebraska.
