The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:

LB 484 would repeal an exemption from agricultural land valuation imposed on land used
for commercial purposes. This bill is necessary to restore clarity and consistency in our land
valuation system. LB484 addresses contradictions created when LB1397 was amended into
LB1317 during the 2024 legislative session.€
