The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB491 would appropriate funds over the current biennium to the Game and Parks
Commission to be used for aid to others to help fund grants to a federally recognized Indian
tribe for the construction of a Chief Standing Bear Museum and Visitor Center.
