Section 1: Amends § 81-1850 by making harmonizing changes to list the covered offenses in the order that they appear in the criminal code and adding the following crimes to the list of covered offenses: • Manslaughter • Motor vehicle homicide • Assault by strangulation or suffocation • Terroristic threats • False imprisonment in the first-degree • Sexual abuse by a school employee Committee Statement: LB52 Judiciary Committee Page 1 • Child enticement by means of an electronic communication device • Sexual abuse of a protected individual • Domestic assault in the first or second-degree • Sex trafficking, sex trafficking of a minor, labor trafficking, or labor trafficking of a minor Section 2: repeals original sections.
