The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB 525 would adopt the Agricultural Data Privacy Act, a set of data privacy statutes intended
to protect both the privacy of agricultural producers in Nebraska as well as the larger
agriculture industry in Nebraska.
