LB 53 amends criminal and civil liability related to pregnancy outcomes. The bill explicitly states that no person shall be cited, arrested,
or prosecuted for the outcome of their pregnancy, whether it res	ults in miscarriage, stillbirth, intentional termination, or any other
pregnancy outcome that does not result in a live birth. Additionally, it provides civil immunity, ensuring that no one can be sued based
on their pregnancy outcome.

The Supreme Court has stated that LB 53 will have a minimal fiscal impact and will not require any additional resources.
