The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB 552 would eliminate offices of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from State Universities,
Colleges, and Community College systems. It would prohibit statements of Diversity, Equity,
and Inclusion and participation in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs. LB 552 would
prohibit public money from being spent on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in state post-
secondary institutions. €
