Summary of purpose and/or changes:
This bill would authorize Natural Resource Districts to tender payment by electronic fund transfers (EFT) and
automated clearinghouse transfers (ACH). Current law requires NRDs to make such payments using a check, draft,
warrant, or other written instrument.
Explanation of amendments:
The committee amendment changes the word "automatic" to "automated" to harmonize with common usage of the
terminology elsewhere in statute.
