The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB625 will provide an easily accessible and easily navigated website for taxpayers to access
the financial information of school districts across the state. The information provided will
include but not be limited to revenue sources, expenditures, and a balance sheet that contains
all assets and liabilities, which reflects all committed and uncommitted funds.
