The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB 633 creates the Nebraska Option Enrollment Tuition Account Program. When a students
application for option enrollment is rejected, they will be able to apply for an Option
Enrollment Tuition Account. The State Board of Education will establish and deposit funds
into the scholarship account for the student to use for qualified education expenses.€
