The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB 635 will authorize the regulation of professional bare-knuckle mixed martial arts,
professional mixed martial arts on ice, amateur kickboxing, and slap fighting. This allows
the states athletic commissioner to sanction matches and exhibitions within these sports.
