The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB91 would eliminate a requirement in statute that requires a public power district or public
power and irrigation district to return ownership of an electric distribution system back to the
requesting city or village without cost to the municipality.
