The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB98 changes the definitions for all-terrain‚ vehicle and utility-type vehicle‚ in
Nebraska statutes. It takes out pound limits in each definition. ATVs are no longer
limited to 1,200 pounds. UTVs are no longer limited to 2,000 pounds.€
The resolution ensures that these larger all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility-type
(UTVs) vehicles can be titled.
