The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LR 33 urges the Nebraska Congressional delegation to take affirmative action to reform the
present approach to daylight saving time.  The delegation is further encouraged to make
such reform with Nebraskas commitment to enhancing individual and family health, growing
economic productivity, protecting agriculture, advancing public safety goals, and ensuring
national uniformity
