Whereas, the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is contingent upon our ability to enjoy a clean and healthy environment; and Whereas, the right to a clean and healthy environment is as fundamental as our other rights; and Whereas, without health, our ability to enjoy our other rights is diminished; and; now, therefore, be it Resolved by the House of Representatives: we recognize that each person has a fundamental right to have clean air, clean water, and a healthy environment. Let it be further resolved that copies of this resolution be sent to members of the New Hampshire congressional delegation, the president of the New Hampshire senate, and the speaker of the New Hampshire house of representatives.
