Allows projects supported by State or municipal affordable housing trust fund to be exempt from property tax and to instead contribute to municipal services by making payments in lieu of taxation.
Establishes "Parents Bill of Rights Act"; prohibits school district from interfering with fundamental right of parent or guardian to engage in and direct student's education; permits opt-out of school district curriculum.
Requires public school with any of grades 9 through 12 to discuss with students and parents employment opportunities as skilled laborer or through military enlistment or in agriculture.
Requires health care practitioners prescribing opioid medications to limit amount of prescribed medication to seven day supply, except in certain circumstances.
Requires State Planning Commission to adopt model ordinance for siting certain warehouses and permits conforming updates to municipal master plans and zoning ordinances and establishes fund in DCA; appropriates $5 million.
Requires basic course in land use law and planning offered to certain officials to include module on warehouse development and high-density development.
