The Senate Law and Public Safety Committee reports favorably
Senate Bill No. 2423.
As reported by the committee, this bill renames the Juvenile
Justice Commission as the Youth Justice Commission. The bill also
updates statutory references from the “New Jersey Code of Juvenile
Justice” to the “New Jersey Code of Youth Justice.”
This bill was pre-filed for introduction in the 2024-2025 session
pending technical review. As reported, the bill includes the changes
required by technical review, which has been performed.
