Sources of Information LFC Files SUMMARY Synopsis of House Resolution 1 House Resolution 1 amends House Rule 9-5-5 to require that the names of each member voting yes, each member voting no, each excused member, and each member shown as absent be listed on each committee report. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS In planning for the 2025 legislative session, committee reports in both chambers were modified to include the information required in House Resolution 1. The expense has already been incurred but is unknown. Any expense to update House Rules could be absorbed in the operating budget for the House Chief Clerkâs office. SIGNIFICANT ISSUES The approval of House Resolution 1 will align with the current practices of identifying members voting yes, no, excused and absent. JL/rl/SL2
