RELATING TO STATE SONGS; DECLARING "GRACIAS NEW MEXICO",
WRITTEN BY CAROL J. MAYBERRY-SANCHEZ, AS THE OFFICIAL STATE
WINTER HOLIDAY SONG.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. A new section of Chapter 12, Article 3 NMSA
1978 is enacted to read:
"[NEW MATERIAL] STATE WINTER HOLIDAY SONG.--The words and
music of "Gracias New Mexico", written by Carol J. Mayberry-
Sanchez, are declared to be the state winter holiday song. The
words are:

Feast day empanadas
Chile simmers, green and red
Dances at the pueblos
