AN ACT making appropriations to the Nevada Promise Scholarship
Account and the Millennium Scholarship Trust Fund; and
providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 1
Fund to the Nevada Promise Scholarship Account created by NRS 2
396.9645 the sum of $6,000,000 to support the Nevada Promise 3
Scholarship Program. 4
Sec. 2. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 5
Fund to the Millennium Scholarship Trust Fund created by NRS 6
396.926 the sum of $75,000,000 to support the Governor Guinn 7
Millennium Scholarship Program. 8
Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval. 9
