AN ACT making appropriations to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission for the replacement of certain systems, furniture, vehicles and computer hardware and associated software; and providing other matters properly relating thereto. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 1 Fund to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission the 2 sum of $2,079 for the replacement of a portable recording system. 3 Sec. 2. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 4 Fund to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission the 5 sum of $120,500 for the replacement of an access control system for 6 facilities. 7 Sec. 3. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 8 Fund to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission the 9 sum of $55,782 for the replacement of office furniture. 10 – 2 – - *SB488* Sec. 4. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 1 Fund to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission the 2 sum of $19,250 for the replacement of vehicles. 3 Sec. 5. There is hereby appropriated from the State General 4 Fund to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission the 5 sum of $6,486 for the replacement of computer hardware and 6 associated software. 7 Sec. 6. Any remaining balance of the appropriations made by 8 sections 1 to 5, inclusive, of this act must not be committed for 9 expenditure after June 30, 2025, by the entity to which the 10 appropriation is made or any entity to which money from the 11 appropriation is granted or otherwise transferred in any manner, and 12 any portion of the appropriated money remaining must not be spent 13 for any purpose after September 19, 2025, by either the entity to 14 which the money was appropriated or the entity to which the money 15 was subsequently granted or transferred, and must be reverted to the 16 State General Fund on or before September 19, 2025. 17 Sec. 7.
