AN ACT making an appropriation to the Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic at the William S. Boyd School of Law of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for the purpose of providing pro bono legal services; and providing other matters properly relating thereto. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State 1 General Fund to the Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic at the William S. 2 Boyd School of Law of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for 3 the purpose of providing pro bono legal services the following 4 sums: 5 For the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 .................................. $500,000 6 For the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 .................................. $500,000 7 2. Any balance of the sums appropriated by subsection 1 8 remaining at the end of the respective fiscal years must not be 9 committed for expenditure after June 30 of the respective fiscal 10 years by the entity to which the appropriation is made or any entity 11 to which money from the appropriation is granted or otherwise 12 transferred in any manner, and any portion of the appropriated 13 money remaining must not be spent for any purpose after 14 September 18, 2026, and September 17, 2027, respectively, by 15 – 2 – - *AB476* either the entity to which the money was appropriated or the entity 1 to which the money was subsequently granted or transferred, and 2 must be reverted to the State General Fund on or before 3 September 18, 2026, and September 17, 2027, respectively. 4 Sec. 2.
