Establishes the farm ownership succession planning program to provide farm owners with a succession planning toolkit that can be used by such farm owners who plan on selling or closing their farm.
Requires a disclosure form for the surrender of a dog to a shelter, pound or dog protective association detailing the reasons for surrender and any aggressive tendencies of such dog.
Directs the commissioner of agriculture and markets, in consultation with the commissioner of the office of temporary and disability assistance, to establish a grant program to provide funding to emergency food providers to purchase prepared meals from New York restaurants and deliver them to families in need.
Expands the FreshConnect program, which provides rebates for the purchase of local produce to certain people, to include local produce sold in supermarkets and grocery stores.
