Enacts the "stop Anti-Semitism on college campuses act" to ensure no state aid is granted to any college or university that authorizes, facilitates, provides funding for, or otherwise supports any event promoting Anti-Semitism on campus; defines "Anti-Semitism".
Relates to establishing the SUNY excess building asset inventory and repurposing act and conducting a study relating to repurposing or demolishing excess buildings in the state university of New York.
Enacts the "dismantling student antisemitism act", or "DSA act"; requires mandatory sensitivity training that includes the topic of antisemitism; includes reporting requirements regarding antisemitism complaints and disciplinary processes.
Extends the utilization of limited permit practice of medicine to private offices or clinics in urgent care settings, prisons, schools, and universities; extends the duration of such limited permits to three years.
Adopts the psychology interjurisdictional compact (Part A); adopts the recognition of emergency medical services personnel licensure interstate compact (Part B); adopts the counseling compact model legislation, approved on December fourth, two thousand twenty by the advisory group formed by the national center for interstate compacts (Part C).
Enacts the interstate medical licensure compact; provides a streamlined process that allows physicians to become licensed in multiple participating states, thereby enhancing the portability of a medical license and ensuring the safety of patients.
Establishes the New York state diplomas to homeownership assistance program; provides awards of up to fifteen thousand dollars to eligible applicants for repayment on student loans; makes an appropriation therefor.
Adopts the Physical Therapy Licensure Compact model language (Part A); adopts the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact model language (Part B); adopts the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (Part C).
Relates to supervising the transfilling of medical oxygen; requires registered wholesalers who transfill medical oxygen to ensure any person responsible for supervising such process meets certain qualifications.
Allows for the education department to provide registration applications to licensees for each profession by means other than mail; requires the state education department to mail applications prior to the end date of such registration period.
Authorizes physicians to prescribe non-patient specific orders that a registered professional nurse may perform including electrocardiogram tests to detect signs and symptoms of acute coronary syndrome, administering point-of-care blood glucose tests to evaluate acute mental status changes in persons with suspected hypoglycemia, administering tests and intravenous lines to persons that meet severe sepsis and sepsis shock criteria, and pregnancy tests.
