Establishes the crime of voyeurism in the first and second degree which is defined as when someone for their own amusement, entertainment, profit, sexual arousal or sexual gratification trespasses for the purpose of viewing a person dressing or undressing or the sexual or other intimate parts of such person at a place and time when such person has a reasonable expectation of privacy, without such person's knowledge or consent.
Includes the throwing, tossing or expelling of saliva at or on an employee of a correctional facility within the crime of aggravated harassment of an employee by an incarcerated individual.
Creates the office of expungement and automatic sealing within the division of criminal justice services to oversee the sealing and expungement of certain convictions.
Requires the division of state police to send renewal notices to holders of a license to carry or possess a pistol or revolver at least 90 days before expiration of such license.
Creates the offense of defrauding the government in the first degree; expands the definition of conspiracy in the fourth degree; relates to expanding the definition of tax fraud acts.
Establishes a coordinated law enforcement adult rescue "teal alert" for missing adults; provides that local law enforcement agencies notify the division of criminal justice services about missing adults; provides that such division shall issue an alert about such missing adult.
Precludes inadmissible statements made by defendants because of false facts about evidence or because of a statement that undermines the reliability of the defendant's statement; requires data collection and analysis by the division of criminal justice services of recorded interrogations.
Relates to police officer and peace officer hiring and transfers; requires police agencies review any possible internal files of police misconduct and complaints as well as pending criminal charges before hiring or allowing for a transfer.
