Relates to conveying approximately 1.2 acres of land located within the forest preserve to the town of Montague, Lewis county, in order to allow the expansion of the town's barn for public use, in exchange for 26 acres of land to be conveyed by such town to the state.
Requires notice of enforcement of a lien on goods in a self-storage facility to be sent to an emergency contact designated by the occupant in a manner similar to the occupant; requires notice to update information on occupancy agreement.
Allows for no fault separation where the relationship between the spouses has broken down irretrievably for a period of at least six months; requires that issues of support and custody or visitation have been resolved.
Provides that a plaintiff shall have up to twenty-one days to consider whether any resolution to a claim involving discrimination shall include the underlying facts of the claim or whether such underlying facts shall be kept confidential.
Limits the power of the legislature to amend a redistricting plan submitted by the independent redistricting commission where it affects more than two percent of the population of any district contained in such plan.
Provides that in the city of New York, a part of the court shall be devoted to actions and proceedings where: every party to the proceeding is a natural person; or the petitioner alleges in its petition that it is a "small landlord"; makes related provisions.
Provides for an exclusion for treble damages in actions for forcible or unlawful entry or detainer where such treble damages are unavailable to a person who, not having entered a lease or license for such real property with the rightful owner, enters onto real property or otherwise settles on land or occupies real property without title, right, permission of the rightful owner, or payment of rent accepted by the rightful owner.
Requires a sworn affidavit stating the seller was informed of the fair market value of the property which includes an estimate of the fair market value of the property be included in the real property transfer form.
Allows the alteration or repeal of real property tax exemptions for certain private institutions of higher education by the passage of a private bill by the legislature and approval by the governor.
