Provides that an accusatory instrument or supporting deposition consisting of factual allegations by a deponent with limited English proficiency is not sufficient unless accompanied by a sworn statement from an interpreter affirming the accuracy of the English interpretation.
Grants campus peace officers employed by the city university of New York police powers on its campuses and other property of the city university, including any portion of a public highway which crosses or abuts such property.
Requires law enforcement and courts to notify the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) when an arrested person or defendant is not a United States citizen; adjusts certain maximum sentences for class A misdemeanors and unclassified misdemeanors; requires notification to be made to the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency prior to the release of certain noncitizens; repeals provisions of the "protect our courts act".

Enacts the "New York AI Child Safety Act" relating to the unlawful promotion or possession of a sexual performance of a child created by digitization; defines terms; increases penalties from a class D or E felony to a class C felony.
Exempts a person from a money judgment arising from an action in another state for knowingly engaging in conduct that aids or abets the performance or inducement of an abortion.
Enacts the "New York State Phoenix Act"; extends the statute of limitations for felony family offenses to ten years and misdemeanor family offenses to five years.
Authorizes the trustees or board of education of any school district to employ retired former members of police or sheriff's departments as special security officers for such school district upon approval by the department of education; grants such officers peace officer status.
