Authorizes school districts that provide transition services to allow the delivery of such transition services, including integrated employment, during school hours.
Establishes an optional retirement stipend of thirty dollars per month for incarcerated individuals over age sixty-two who have completed at least five years of their sentence.
Relates to notice of eligibility for unemployment benefits; requires an employer to provide a written notice of the right to file for unemployment benefits to any employee whose employment has been terminated or whose scheduled working hours have been reduced.
Relates to the creation of a crime database of all convictions in New York state of animal cruelty, fighting, neglect, abandonment and mistreatment; makes such crime database available to all law enforcement entities, district attorneys, duly incorporated humane societies, societies for the prevention of cruelty to animals, dog or cat protective associations and animal control officers.
Relates to surcharges assessed for the late filing of rent registration statements; provides that a late filing surcharge shall be one hundred dollars; provides that if the state division of housing and community renewal determines such late registration was willful the surcharge shall be one thousand dollars.
Relates to domestic violence training for health and mental health professionals; requires such trainings to be updated annually by the office for the prevention of domestic violence; requires the office to collect data on participation of such trainings by health professionals.
Relates to requiring the recording of mezzanine debt and preferred equity investments and including mezzanine debt in the mortgage recording tax; defines mezzanine debt.
