Requires amusement device operators to be at least 16 years old, trained in the use and function of all normal and emergency operating controls, and the proper use of the amusement device; requires the operator to be in the immediate vicinity of the main control panel during operation of the amusement device; prohibits operators from operating more than one device at a time.
Requires that in civil claims under the child victims act, adult survivors act, or a civil sex trafficking claim any insurer who may provide liability coverage for a claim shall, upon request from the claimant or claimant's attorney, provide information regarding each known policy of insurance; provides that a person bringing a civil claim in a sex trafficking case need not disclose their immigration status.
Establishes a twenty-two year retirement program for deputy sheriff members who are employed by the city of New York as a deputy city sheriff level one, deputy city sheriff level two, supervising deputy sheriff or administrative sheriff.
Provides for comparable salary and other benefits for state employees designated managerial or confidential which shall not be withheld unless an employee has received a formal written performance evaluation rating of unsatisfactory or its equivalent.
Enacts the "guaranteed reservation protection for rental car customers act"; provides that a rental vehicle company shall not charge any authorized driver a rental rate higher than the rate quoted in such driver's reservation.
Requires certain political communications to include provenance data for all audios, images or videos used in such communications; provides for the repeal of certain provisions upon the expiration thereof.
Authorizes alienation of certain parkland in the town of Brookhaven, Suffolk county and the lease of such land for a wireless communication tower, and an easement for access and utilities.
Amends the imposition of sales tax to dramatic or musical arts performances, or live circus performances, or motion picture theaters, where such admission charge is not more than one thousand dollars.
Prevents certain public institutions of higher education from using the scholastic aptitude test and ACT assessment in the admissions process on and after the two thousand twenty-six--two thousand twenty-seven academic year for New York resident applicants; requires SUNY and CUNY to create a new standardized test by the two thousand thirty--two thousand thirty-one academic year.
