A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring the Pickerington High School Central cheer
team on winning a 2025 OASSA State Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the
Pickerington High School Central cheer team as the 2025 Ohio
Association of Secondary School Administrators State Champion in
Division 1 game day building; and
WHEREAS, The members of the Pickerington High School Central cheer
team are exemplary athletes, and throughout this celebrated season,
they have shown themselves to be a truly exceptional squad. The Tigers
have been unwavering in their commitment to excellence, and the
competitors and coaches are deserving of high praise for earning this
year’s OASSA state title in the Division 1 game day building category;
and
WHEREAS, The individuals associated with the Pickerington High
School Central cheer team have demonstrated remarkable energy,
enthusiasm, and dedication in securing this outstanding state
recognition. Indeed, this victory is truly a result of the tireless
efforts collectively put forth by the team members and coaches, and
they have certainly distinguished themselves and received respect and
admiration from fans and opponents alike; and
WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future
leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and
the rewards of personal and group effort, athletic competition has
become a valuable tool. By taking part in sports, the members of the
Pickerington High School Central cheer team have gained discipline and
perseverance that will help them in all aspects of their lives;
therefore be it

As Adopted by the House
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of
the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,
extend special acknowledgement to the Pickerington High School Central
cheer team as the 2025 OASSA State Champion in Division 1 game day
building and honor all those who contributed to the success of this
fine squad; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Pickerington High
School Central cheer team.
