A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring the Delaware Hayes High School NIRBII team
on being named a top team in the NASA App
Development Challenge.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Delaware Hayes High School
NIRBII team on being selected as a top team in the NASA App
Development Challenge and being invited to visit the Johnson Space
Center in Houston, Texas; and
WHEREAS, Delaware Hayes High School NIRBII team members Madeline
Bruns, Nat Zahniser, Jason White, Elise Buckerfield, and Isaac Highman
have striven to cultivate their knowledge and skills and have amply
demonstrated their ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm and
confidence. Displaying an exceptional willingness to work hard to
achieve superior results, they created a mobile application for the
NASA App Development Challenge that simulates the upcoming Artemis II
mission, and their impressive efforts secured their team a berth in
the next round of the competition; and
WHEREAS, The accomplishments of the Delaware Hayes High School
NIRBII team are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent
reflection not only on the members but also on their families, their
advisor, Joanne Meyer, their school, and their community. They have
exhibited a sincere desire to fully develop their talents so that they
might fulfill their goals in the future, and this, coupled with their
responsibility and initiative, shows their potential to become some of
tomorrow’s finest leaders; and
WHEREAS, Displaying exceptional discipline, perseverance, and
resolve, the members of the Delaware Hayes High School NIRBII team

have clearly identified themselves as conscientious and hard -working
individuals, and with their initiative and enthusiasm, they have won a
host of admirers. The knowledge and self -confidence the students have
gained through their participation in events such as the NASA App
Development Challenge will no doubt be of great benefit to them
throughout their lives; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the
Delaware Hayes High School NIRBII team on its success and extend best
wishes to them on their journey to Texas; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Delaware Hayes High
School NIRBII team.
