AS INTRODUCED 
 
An Act relating to public health; prohibiting 
vaccination as a condition of public or private 
employment; preempting certain rules and ord inances; 
providing for codification; and providing an 
effective date. 
 
 
 
 
 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1 -506.1 of Title 63, unless 
there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: 
A.  No person shall be required to receive any vaccine as a 
condition of his or her public or private employment. 
B.  The State Legislature hereby preempts any employment-related 
vaccination mandate enacted by any agency, board, or commission with 
rulemaking authority or by any ordinance enacted by any political 
subdivision of the state, including, but not limited to, counties, 
cities, towns, and municipalities.

SECTION 2.  This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
