AS INTRODUCED 
 
An Act relating to livestock diseases; amending 2 
O.S. 2011, Section 6 -96, which relates to official 
identification of vaccinated animals; requiring 
animals to be identified with official 
identification; and providing an effective date. 
 
 
 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     AMENDATORY     2 O.S. 2011, Sectio n 6-96, is 
amended to read as follows: 
Section 6-96.  Officially vaccinated animals shall have been be 
inoculated with a vaccine approved by the United States Department 
of Agriculture and the State Board of Agriculture in a manner and by 
a person approved by the Board.  The inoculation shall be made 
between ages specified by the Board.  Animals vaccinated shall be 
properly identified with a tattoo and individual official 
identification as prescribed by the Board. 
SECTION 2.  This act shall become effective November 1, 2021 .
