BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 157 of Title 4, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: Any state agency that owns, operates or leases land in this state that is utilized for livestock grazing shall be responsible for enclosing by fence or other suitable means any portion of such land to contain the livestock. The state agency shall also be responsible for maintaining the fence or enclosure. The state agency may enter into a labor cost-sharing contract with adjacent landowners, provided that the landowner shall not otherwise be responsible for the cost of the fence or maintenance. Req.
